I’m a marketing writer at NC State University, where I talk to driven students and innovative researchers and then tell the world how amazing they are. I’ve always been obsessed with language, and it’s a joy to share these stories through online articles, print and digital ads and scripts.

Before going into marketing communications, I was a journalist. I’ve reported breaking news at WRAL, covered local education issues at The Gainesville Sun and copy edited wire stories for The New York Times. Lucky for me, working in higher education isn’t terribly different from working in newsrooms — I still get to learn new things every day.
